Solid Rock Recruiting is partnering with a growing commercial painting contractor in the Milwaukee area that is looking for a hungry, driven Sales Representative to help grow the business.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build their own book of business, develop relationships, create new opportunities, and directly impact the growth of the company . The ideal candidate is competitive, self-motivated, comfortable prospecting, and willing to put in the work to build something.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and actively pursue new commercial accounts
• Build and grow a personal book of business
• Prospect for new opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, site visits, and relationship building
• Develop relationships with business owners, property managers, facility managers, and other commercial decision-makers
• Identify upcoming projects and turn opportunities into new business
• Walk job sites, meet with customers, understand project needs, and gather scope information
• Prepare proposals and work with customers through the sales process
• Follow up consistently and manage opportunities from initial contact through close
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
• Build a strong pipeline of future opportunities
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure a smooth transition from sold work into production
• Take ownership of your territory, relationships, pipeline, and results
• Help identify new markets and opportunities for the company to pursue

• Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and hearing "no"
• Competitive and driven by results
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to manage their own schedule and pipeline
• Willing to get out in the field and meet customers face-to-face
• Able to identify opportunities and turn them into business
• Previous B2B sales experience required
• Commercial construction, painting, coatings, facility services, or related industry experience is a plus
• Experience selling directly to business owners, property managers, facility managers, or other commercial decision-makers is highly valuable
• CRM experience is required

Growth Expectations

The initial goal for this position is to build toward approximately $2 million in annual sales while establishing a strong, repeatable book of business.

$2 million is a benchmark, not a ceiling. There is significant room to grow beyond that for someone who can consistently generate new business, expand their customer base, and continue developing their market.
