Leading a remote team of claims professionals, the full-time Claims Supervisor will manage Workers Compensation claims under the Federal Defense Base Act, promoting best practices and driving talent development while ensuring high-quality service delivery. Key responsibilities Supervise and motivate a Workers Compensation claims team to handle diverse caseloads efficiently Guide the team in adhering to Gallagher's Best Practices for claims management Oversee adjuster hiring and training, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement Required qualifications High School Diploma Minimum of 10 years of related claims experience Prior leadership experience with at least 2 years in a claims environment Knowledge of Federal Defense Base Act and/or Longshore jurisdiction Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are managed
