Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and goals of patients seeking substance use disorder treatment, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews. Develop tailored treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, with a focus on motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques. Deliver individual counseling sessions through virtual means, fostering a safe space for open dialogue and emotional expression. Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that promote peer support and lead discussions on recovery topics, coping strategies, and shared experiences. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with individuals struggling with substance use disorders, providing compassionate care and therapeutic strategies to promote recovery. Our patient population is diverse, bringing a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, which allows you to apply varied therapeutic approaches to meet individualized needs effectively. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington. Strong understanding of substance use disorders, addiction recovery processes, and evidence-based interventions. Extensive experience in providing individual and group therapy within the context of addiction treatment. Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, ensuring a supportive therapeutic alliance with patients. Proficient in electronic health record systems and adept at utilizing technology in a telehealth setting. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
