Ultrasound Technologist

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• BLS Certification
• Ultrasound certification
• 3+ years of experience
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and/or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• State License as a general radiographer
• Experience with abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms
• Proficiency in scanning small parts including thyroid, breast, and scrotum
• Experience with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Shift days: Monday through Friday
• Call required, typically 1-2 times per week
