Junior Cost Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Junior Cost Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Assist in the creation and implementation of cost accounting policies and procedures to improve precision and effectiveness
- Formulate cost projections for upcoming and proposed products
- Evaluate financial information to pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction and offer suggestions
- Perform routine audits to verify adherence to accounting standards and rules
- Aid in compiling weekly and month-end reports on cost activity and inventory
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fiel
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in cost accounting roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
