Assistant Property Manager
The Assistant Property Manager supports the daily operations of the apartment community by assisting with financial management, resident relations, leasing, and compliance. This position requires a strong accounting background, including experience with rent collections, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank deposits, monthly reporting, and financial reconciliation. The Assistant Manager also plays a key role in administering affordable housing programs by processing certifications and recertifications, verifying income and household eligibility, maintaining compliance with program regulations, and ensuring accurate resident files.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proficient in Yardi software, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional customer service. Previous experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, Tax Credit, or other regulated housing programs) is strongly preferred.
