Accounts Receivable Specialist
A client of CFS is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their growing accounting team. Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Apply customer payments accurately and timely.
- Perform relationship-focused collections on past-due accounts while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Prepare and assist with customer billing and invoicing.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate customer account records.
- Work closely with customers and internal departments to ensure timely collections.
- Cross-train in Accounts Payable and provide backup support as needed.
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in an accounts receivable role.
- Collections experience is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
