This role is located in Lake Mary, FL. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Design and Review of Logical and Physical Data Models based on data in existing systems and new business requirementsEnhance the Canonical Data Model for the PlatformImplement the data model enhancementsImplement and manage views and stored procedures for data consumption and data persistenceProvide tools and support for the data consumption servicesEnsure Performance of the Data Models based on the Transactional and Analytical use casesEnsure Data Quality within the data models and at the data interfacesImplement Data Validation and Verification ProcessesWork with various development teams to provide an understanding of the data model and the data.To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 9-11 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus; should have thorough knowledge of the software development cycle Experience with data modeling, database design and development or related experience is required.Prior experience in managing DB development teamExperience modeling Financial dataPrior experience modeling Client and Entitlement DataGood knowledge of Financial Accounts, Transactions and Positions dataHands-on experience with any RDBMS, preferably MS SQL Server or Oracle Good SQL knowledgeExcellent communication skillsGood Problem Solving & Analytical SkillsWork experience in Financial ServicesWork experience on any data modeling tool, viz.
