Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures to provide expert patient care in a dynamic surgical environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cardiac and vascular surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preoperative assessments and prepare patients for CVOR procedures.
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring sterile techniques and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to intraoperative changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient status.
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations, including BLS and RN licensure requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NJ Registered Nurse license.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of CVOR nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification required; CNOR credential preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac and vascular surgical procedures.
• Possess strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Able to work effectively in high-pressure surgical environments.
