Job Details Position: Acute Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel RN Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 Assignment Length: 6 weeks Start Date: 09/23/2026 Unit Focus: Telemetry / PCU - Cardiac Shift: Flexible 7-10 hour shifts; candidates must be willing to work days, nights, and mids Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, based on unit needs Guaranteed Hours: 48 Setting: High-acuity acute care environment with EPIC charting Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania Location Highlights: Johnstown is known for its historic charm, arts and music scene, scenic western Pennsylvania surroundings, and easy access to local attractions and outdoor recreation Job Requirements Active RN license BLS certification required 2 years preferred Cardiac nursing experience strongly preferred Ability to care for a cardiac geriatric patient population Experience with EPIC electronic health records preferred Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting Positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset Ability to complete all required screenings and clearances prior to start Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric cardiac patients in a telemetry / PCU environment Monitor and assess patients with diagnoses such as chest pain, MI, post-open heart surgery, Watchman, TAVR, post-op cardiac cath, and pacemaker care Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective treatment plans Use strong clinical judgment and attention to detail to manage patient care in a high-acuity acute care unit Document accurately in EPIC and communicate changes in patient condition promptly Support a collaborative, patient-centered work environment Be available for flexible shift coverage based on unit needs Join this travel nursing opportunity in Johnstown, PA and apply today!
