Commodity Leader - Service Labor NAM

Job Description Summary The Commodity Leader will be responsible for the strategic development and end-to-end management of a North American labor supply chain dedicated to our Wind Service Operations. In this role, you will drive significant commercial advantage by ensuring our partners consistently meet and exceed rigorous safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance targets. Job Description Roles & Responsibility Drive cost out projects and negotiations with suppliers and cross functional teams targeted at achieving annual cost goals. Collaborate with finance partners to develop annual budgets based on your price negotiations. Manage supplier contracts, service agreements and terms and conditions with preferred suppliers to ensure that market trends, supplier performance, and future business needs are aligned. Develop and execute long term regional commodity strategies for a diverse group of suppliers, with varying levels of complexity. Collaborate with global supporting resources (services, engineering, product line, quality, supply chain, and regional teams) to achieve schedule and ensure adequate cycle time to meet timelines. Lead the evaluation and selection of new suppliers, development of existing suppliers, and overall supplier management – with a focus on safety, quality, delivery & cost. Define and drive use of preferred suppliers plus develop alternate sources. Interact with site teams to understand business needs and develop supply chain strategies that optimize total requirements. Develop technical and market expertise in commodity areas. Manage/Negotiate Vendor Recovery claims. Drive Supplier Scorecard process for Partner Suppliers. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university Minimum 5 years of sourcing or global supply chain experience Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required, estimated at 20% Desired Characteristics High motivation, leadership, and influencing skills Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills Demonstrated supplier negotiation experience Demonstrated contracting expertise, and business law knowledge Ability to perform scenario analysis and strategy development Proactive self-starter and change agent Cross functional, matrixed, and international team experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Effectively communicate across all organizational levels, departments, and functions Have proven project management and process improvement skills Aptitude with analytical tools (ex. Excel, Access); specific skills should include: data-mining, pivot tables, data manipulation Demonstrated technical aptitude and business acumen The base pay range for this position is $125,000-208,300 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. *The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
