Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of the MTSS/RTI framework, IEP process, and special education law
• Excellent assessment skills, including cognitive, behavioral, and academic evaluations
• Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
• Adaptable, resourceful, and committed to student advocacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments
• Collaborate in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention strategies
• Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Support prevention and early intervention efforts for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
• Facilitate professional development for school staff on topics related to mental health and learning needs
• Maintain detailed and confidential student records in accordance with school policies
