Account Specialist, Spasticity & Movement Disorder - Chicago, IL

AbbVie seeks an Account Specialist to promote spasticity and movement disorder products across community practices and health systems in the Chicago area. The role involves developing customer relationships, delivering clinical training, and driving sales while meeting compliance and credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Promote products to meet or exceed sales goals across assigned community and hospital accounts
• Identify customer needs and coordinate appropriate clinical, training, reimbursement, and operational support
• Deliver anatomical and procedural training on injection techniques to physicians and hospital personnel
• Collaborate with colleagues to execute resident and fellow training programs within health system accounts
• Ensure compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and utilize sales resources to drive product growth

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business; or 5+ years technical experience with 3+ years sales experience and high school diploma
• Ability to learn and communicate procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information to diverse audiences
• Physical capability to lift/pull 25–100 lb training models
• Adequate travel availability and willingness to attend overnight training events and sales meetings
• Documented strong sales performance in clinical, technical, or consultative roles preferred
• Must satisfy healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements and maintain good standing
