Project Estimator

We're currently partnered with a well-established and rapidly growing general contractor that is looking to add an Estimator to their team. This opportunity is geared toward a construction professional with experience estimating large-scale industrial, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, and commercial projects from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission. This individual will play a key role in supporting preconstruction efforts, developing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project risks, and collaborating with operations teams to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and understands the complexities of ground-up industrial construction, including tilt-wall facilities. Responsibilities Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and detailed construction estimates Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate quantity takeoffs and pricing Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals Assist with bid package development, scope reviews, and subcontractor leveling Collaborate with project management and field operations teams during preconstruction and project turnover Develop budgets, cost models, and value engineering recommendations Identify project risks, constructability concerns, and potential cost-saving opportunities Maintain current knowledge of market pricing, labor trends, and material costsParticipate in client meetings, bid reviews, and preconstruction presentations Support estimating efforts for industrial, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, and tilt-wall construction projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience 5+ years of estimating experience within commercial or industrial construction Experience estimating ground-up industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or tilt-wall projects Strong understanding of construction means and methods, project scheduling, and procurement strategies Ability to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis Experience reviewing subcontractor proposals and conducting bid leveling Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with estimating and construction management software What's Offered Opportunity to work on large-scale industrial and commercial developments throughout Texas Strong project pipeline with long-term growth opportunities Collaborative, team-oriented culture with a focus on employee development Exposure to high-profile manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and industrial construction projects Competitive compensation package, bonus structure, and comprehensive benefits Requirements Bachelor's Degree Preferred 5+ Years of Estimating Experience Experience with Ground-Up Industrial and Tilt-Wall Construction Strong Knowledge of Construction Costs, Procurement, and Preconstruction Services #J-18808-Ljbffr Engtal
