Job Description This is a Night 3x12-Hour shift position from 18:00 to 06:30. We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. In this role, you will provide essential care to high-risk obstetric patients and assist in various procedures including cesarean sections. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar setting and be prepared to support our culturally diverse population. Responsibilities Assist with high-risk deliveries and cesarean sections. Provide care related to labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation. Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs. Support breastfeeding and lactation needs of new mothers. Educate parents on newborn care and postpartum recovery. Participate in the triage of obstetrical patients. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. Current California RN license required (pending licenses not accepted). Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS. Experience with high-risk obstetrics and familiarity with clinical procedures. Ability to float to other areas as needed to meet facility requirements.
