The Retail Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day retail operations, achieving sales targets, and delivering excellent customer service. This position involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a positive shopping environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily store operations and staff supervision
- Support sales goals and drive customer satisfaction initiatives
- Train and mentor retail staff to enhance performance and service quality
- Manage inventory including stock levels, ordering, and merchandising
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently
- Ensure compliance with company policies and retail standards
- Support visual merchandising and promotional activities
- Contribute to staff scheduling and payroll accuracy
