The position involves providing respiratory care in a NICU/PICU setting with a focus on drawing arterial blood gases and working with electronic medical records. The role requires adaptability to a slow-paced environment with a potential for rapid response during triage situations.

Job Details:

• Location: Plymouth, Massachusetts
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. Minimum hours per week are 36.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • NRP Certification
  • No less than 0 years of experience, with 3 years preferred
  • Experience working with electronic medical records strongly preferred
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Additional Information:
  • NICU/PICU experience is required
  • Must be able to draw arterial blood gases
  • The facility is smaller and slow-paced, requiring quick response during triage
  • Orientation is biweekly
  • No local travelers are accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
  • Travelers who have recently worked with the organization as travel, permanent, or per diem staff within six months will not be considered
  • The role involves working primarily with a facility that operates in a hospital setting and handles rapid triage situations
