Manager, Legal Talent Acquisition For the Austin, Dallas, Houston or Chicago Office of a Global Law Firm Responsibilities include: Lead full-cycle lateral recruiting for partner and non-partner roles, developing sourcing strategies aligned with practice group and business needs. Partner with hiring managers and firm leadership to assess candidates, conduct structured interviews, and maintain a consistent, high-quality selection process. Manage offer development, negotiation, screening, references, relocation, bar assistance, onboarding, and integration in collaboration with hiring partners. Oversee requisitions, recruitment systems, data integrity, reporting, audits, referral processes, budgets, and other recruiting administration. Develop and execute recruitment programs, events, social media outreach, workforce planning strategies, and employer-branding initiatives. Support summer programs and provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and ongoing feedback to recruiting team members. Qualifications include: 5+ years of recruiting experience at an Am Law firm including at least three years in a management role. Bachelor's degree required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and handle confidential information professionally. Strong project management, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Creative, detail-oriented, responsive, and tactful, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver accurate work. General knowledge of U.S. visa processes and requirements.
