Registered Nurse - Neonatal ICU
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to neonates in a Level III NICU setting. This role requires a compassionate and skilled nurse to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, reacting to changes as necessary.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.
- Educate families about neonatal care and discharge planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 18 months of recent Neonatal Level III experience.
- Active BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
- Must hold a permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact State RN license.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.
