About the Role

Under the guidance of the Emergency Department Director, the RN will utilize nursing knowledge and independent judgment to provide comprehensive care. Responsibilities include applying age-specific principles of growth and development, maintaining patient privacy and safety, and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team. Proficiency with electronic medical records and current technology is essential.

Education and Experience

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• At least one year of emergency room nursing experience is preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is a plus.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current and unrestricted nursing license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications are required.
• TNCC certification must be obtained within six months of hire.

• Ability to prioritize and organize work efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to document accurately and follow instructions.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
