Phlebotomist

Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Health Partners-Old West- 2244 Collingwood Blvd., Toledo, OH 43620. Work Schedule Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, Saturday rotation. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program. 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program from an accredited agency if not having work experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Pay Range Pay Range: $17.75 - $25.92 per hour Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.
