Description - What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and sophisticated clinical lab tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established protocols.
• Ensure result accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and strive to uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Maintain a hygienic and safe workspace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification during the term of employment.
