Speech Pathologist - Outpatient - Per Diem

As a per diem Speech Language Pathologist in Outpatient Therapy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Ca, you will have comprehensive knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques in a medical physical disabilities setting. What will you be doing?
- Perform evaluations
- Demonstrate appropriate treatment interventions and strategies
- Complete discharge planning for patients
- Knowledge and experience with bedside swallow evaluations and cognitive/communication evaluations
- The Therapist-Per Diem is considered employed on an at-will basis with no guarantee of scheduled hours. Scheduling is done based on staffing need and availability. The Therapist-Per Diem staff member is expected to be available a minimum of 16 hours per month.
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology (SLP) program
- Valid and current license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing therapist; preferably in an outpatient setting. Experience working with the electronic health record preferred.
