Account Technical Leader – IBM Global Sales Lead IBM's technical strategy and tactical engagements with clients, acting as a trusted IT architecture advisor on the entire IBM Technology Portfolio. Responsibilities Lead development of comprehensive technical strategies for clients, incorporating IBM’s Software and Infrastructure products. Collaborate with clients, Technology MD/Seller, and brand sales to understand business and technical challenges, and develop tailored IBM Client Technical Strategies (CTS). Serve as a trusted IT architecture advisor, providing expert guidance on IBM’s Technology Portfolio (Data, Automation, Transaction Processing, Hybrid Cloud, Power, Storage, Cloud, TLS, zHW). Execute tactical engagements with clients, ensuring successful delivery of technical solutions and services. Document and refine CTS based on client feedback and evolving technology. Required Education High School Diploma/GED Required Technical /Professional Expertise Deep knowledge of IBM’s Technology Portfolio (Software & Infrastructure). Experience delivering trusted IT architecture advisory services to clients. Track record of developing and executing comprehensive technical strategies. Leadership of tactical client engagements with successful delivery of technical solutions. Cross‑functional collaboration with clients, Technology MD/Seller, and brand sales. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with IBM’s four data platforms and infrastructure portfolios. Experience providing advisory services that align technical strategy with business objectives. Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive technical strategies that address business and technical challenges. Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary range: $137,000 – $257,000 per year.
