Driver – Job Description Position: Driver Department: Shipping/Delivery Reports To: Management Job Summary: The Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering printed materials, supplies, and finished products to customers and other locations. The Driver will also assist with loading and unloading materials and may help with general warehouse and shipping duties as needed. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to make scheduled deliveries and pickups. Load and unload printed materials, boxes, pallets, and other products. Check orders and paperwork to ensure the correct materials are being delivered. Obtain signatures or delivery confirmations when required. Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle. Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures. Handle products carefully to prevent damage during transportation. Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Report any delivery issues, vehicle problems, or damaged products to management. Assist the shipping/warehouse team when not making deliveries. Help with general warehouse duties, including moving, organizing, and preparing materials. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Ability to safely lift and move boxes and printed materials. Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow instructions and company procedures. Previous delivery, warehouse, or printing industry experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to safely load and unload company vehicles.
