The Director of Sales Training is responsible for establishing and executing the U.S. training strategy for BIOTRONIK Neuro’s field sales and clinical organization. This role leads the development of training programs that drive commercial excellence, improve sales performance, and ensure consistent execution across the organization.The Director oversees all aspects of training, including new hire onboarding, certification, advanced sales training, and leadership development. This individual ensures the field is equipped with the clinical knowledge, product expertise, and business acumen required to effectively position BIOTRONIK Neuro’s therapies and drive adoption.Essential Functions:Lead the development and execution of comprehensive training programs aligned with corporate goals and commercial strategyOversee new hire onboarding, certification programs, and ongoing training for sales and clinical teamsDevelop and implement training focused on sales execution, territory management, and physician engagementEnsure field teams are proficient in product knowledge, therapy application, and competitive positioningPartner with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Commercial Excellence to align training with business prioritiesEstablish performance metrics to measure training effectiveness and drive continuous improvementIdentify performance gaps and deploy targeted training and retraining initiativesLead, coach, and develop training team members, including the Training Manager roleSupport development of training materials, policies, procedures, and certification standardsMaintain expertise on industry trends, therapies, and competitor offeringsCompetencies:Strong leadership and team development skillsExpertise in adult learning principles and instructional designExcellent communication and facilitation skillsAbility to translate strategy into actionable training programsData-driven decision making and performance analysisStrong collaboration and cross-functional partnershipRequired Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience10+ years of experience in medical device or healthcare sales, training, or commercial leadershipExperience developing and leading training programs for sales and/or clinical teamsDemonstrated leadership experience managing teams and driving performancePreferred Education and Experience:Experience in neuromodulation or implantable medical device therapiesExperience training both individual contributors and sales leadersExperience building certification programs or structured onboarding initiativesBackground in digital health, remote monitoring, or service-based healthcare modelsSupervisory Responsibilities:Directly manages Sales Training team, including Training Manager and supporting rolesWork Environment:This role operates in a professional office and field-based environment. Responsibilities include both in-person and virtual training delivery.Physical Demands:Ability to facilitate training sessions, including standing for extended periods and handling equipment (up to 25 lbs). Regular use of standard office and presentation equipment is required.Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:Full-time position. Standard business hours apply, with flexibility required based on training schedules and business needs.
