Job Description 1st Shift Inspecting and Packaging 7:00 PM - 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour Position Summary An industry leading metal fabrication facility is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inspecting & Packaging Associate to join our production team in Geneva, Indiana. This position is responsible for inspecting finished products for quality, packaging items according to company standards, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. - Inspect products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies
- Follow quality control standards and inspection procedures
- Package products accurately and efficiently
- Label, sort, and prepare materials for shipping
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report quality or equipment issues to supervisors
- Operate basic production and packaging equipment safely
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Meet daily production and attendance expectations
- Assist with other warehouse or production duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing, packaging, or inspection experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Manufacturing and warehouse setting
- May require standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
