Position: Production Associate I - This is a short-term Summer Help position that will begin May 2026 and will end no later than mid August 2026.
Location: Portland, IN
Shift: 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm with overtime and weekends as needed

Wage: $19.54 per hour

While reporting to the Production Shift Supervisor as a Production Associate, you will be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations. Safety, quality, productivity, and strong work ethic are important to the ThermoSafe culture.

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform work on an assembly line using multiple materials and adhesives. Assists in inventory as required.

• Visually inspects, packs, and labels finished parts for shipment.

• Uses gauges, jigs, and other measuring devices as required to check product.

• Performs simple set up on equipment and operates machinery as required.

• Move materials as directed for placement in storage and or loading trucks.

• Completes and maintains records according to production and quality standards and maintains cleanliness of manufacturing and storage areas using 5S standards.

• Performs all duties in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of professionalism, quality, and safety.

• Overtime required at times

• Having basic knowledge of equipment and the molding/expansion process is a plus.

• Can easily lift, carry up to 49lbs with no assistance.

• Have strong communication and organization skills.

• Are self-motivated individual who can multi-task in a fast- paced production setting.
