Ophthalmologist Opportunity In Chicago, Il
A prestigious and well-established ophthalmology practice in Chicago, IL is seeking an ophthalmologist to join their dynamic team. With multiple locations and a strong reputation for excellence, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a high-volume, well-supported role with exceptional earning potential.
Position Highlights:
- Competitive base salary: $200,000 negotiable based on experience + bonus based on collections
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- High patient volume:
- Chicago location – ~30 patients/day
- Oak Lawn location – 35-40 patients/day (busiest location)
- Surgical cases available
- Multiple office locations
- Support staff: 2-3 providers per site, plus full support staff (3-4 exam rooms per provider)
- EMR system: NextTech

- Diverse patient base: heavy Hispanic population (Spanish-speaking is a plus)
- Primarily Medicare patients
- No new grads – experienced physicians preferred
Ideal Candidate:
- Board-certified or board-eligible ophthalmologist
- Strong interest in surgical cases (preferred but not required)
- Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume practice
