The Work The scope of this effort encompasses tasks that provide U.S. Cyber Command with the sustained ability to fulfill its mission to direct, synchronize, and coordinate cyberspace planning and operations to defend and advance national interests in collaboration with domestic and international partners. These tasks include coordinating, synchronizing, deconflicting, and integrating operational planning efforts for full‑ spectrum cyberspace operations. Key Responsibilities Cyber Defense Incident Responder Cyber Operations Planner Cyber Policy and Strategy Planner Knowledge Manager Program Support Specialist Systems Engineer Technical Writer Who You Are Program Support Specialist Journeyman who can provide Cyberspace Operations Support Services aligned with core disciplines such as Cyberspace Operations, Cyberspace Planning, Cyberspace Training and Exercises, Strategy / Policy / Doctrine Development, Assessments, IT / Communications, Business Area Support and Project Management. Capable of delivering the sustained ability to fulfill its mission for coordinating, synchronizing, deconflicting, and integrating operational planning efforts for full‑ spectrum cyberspace operations. Ready to support the evolving cyberspace operations mission in collaboration with the Joint warfighter. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma plus 6‑13 years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline with 3‑10 years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline with 3‑8 years of relevant experience. Experience Coordinated program activities across multiple teams and stakeholders while developing and maintaining detailed schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Analyzed program data to identify trends, risks, and performance issues, tracked risks, issues, and dependencies, and supported mitigation efforts. Prepared comprehensive reports, briefings, and documentation for leadership, ensuring compliance with applicable policies, standards, and frameworks. Supported budgeting, resource tracking, and overall program planning, leveraging program‑management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira) to monitor progress. Recommended and implemented process improvements that increased program efficiency and effectiveness, and facilitated regular communication to gather updates and keep all parties informed. Must possess a current U.S. TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. Desired Skills Proficiency with program‑management software (MS Suite, JIRA, etc.). Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to interpret and apply policy and compliance requirements. Basic understanding of U.S. Cyber Command mission areas and cyber operations. Experience with Workflow Management System (WMS) and/or JIRA to task, track and manage tasks. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
