Medical Assistant CertifiedVirginia Mason Medical Center, Issaquah, WashingtonAs our Certified Medical Assistant, you will help our patients receive exceptional care efficiently and effectively so they can experience a seamless and supportive healthcare journey.Every day you will directly support providers by assisting throughout the patient visit continuum, from pre-visit preparation and rooming to post-visit duties. This includes performing vital sign measurements (weight, height, BP, pulse, respirations, temperature) and various patient care procedures within MA scope of practice, such as injections, EKGs, ear lavage, and blood draw. Managing patient flow, informing providers of schedule adjustments, actively participating in front office activities, handling scheduling tasks, and reporting test results as directed. Contributing to administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling, medical record maintenance, and insurance claim processing. May hold Interim MA-C with a probationary period to obtain permanentMA-C licensure within 6 months of hire or before the expiration of the Interim certification.BLS-RQI requiredPreferredKnowledge of insurance concepts preferred.One year Medical Assistant – Certified experience preferred.
