This role combines transactional buying responsibilities with clerical and analytical support to ensure accurate inventory records, compliance with country‑of‑origin requirements, and efficient purchasing processes. Essential Job Functions Purchasing / Procurement Execute purchase orders for inventory and non‑inventory items based on demand and planning requirements; monitor supplier performance, pricing, and lead times Coordinate with vendors to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate purchasing data in ERP or inventory systems Inventory Support Send weekly consignment pull reports Reconcile consignment inventory quarterly for all consignment suppliers Administrative & Compliance Support Maintain documentation related to country of origin, compliance, and supplier records Ensure purchasing documentation meets internal and regulatory requirements Provide clerical support including data entry, reporting, and record‑keeping Assist with audits related to inventory and procurement Cross Functional Coordination Work with operations, warehouse, and accounting teams to resolve issues Support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and inventory processes Requirements Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory support Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Understanding of inventory control and supply chain processes Knowledge of import/export or country‑of‑origin requirements is a plus Skills And Competencies Analytical and problem‑solving skills Strong communication and vendor management abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment High level of accuracy and data integrity Tramec is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
