Registered Nurse – Night Shift Location: Monmouth Medical Center, New Jersey. Pay Range: $46.90 - $63.09 per hour. The compensation offered to the selected candidate will depend on several factors, including educational background, skills, and professional experience. Job Function The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. The RN ensures safety in practice, applies evidence‑based practice, reports safety issues, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team. The RN supervises delegation of tasks, sets priorities, and evaluates opportunities for improvement through measurable outcomes. Qualifications ASN or Nursing Diploma One to two years’ experience within specialty Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills Certifications and Licenses Required BLS and ACLS certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License Valid N.J. State Driver’s License Preferred BA/BS/BSN Degree Completion of clinical experience in a NLN accredited school Screening Certification eligibility National Certification Scheduling Requirements Night Shift, 36 hours per week Essential Functions Assure safety in practice and apply evidence‑based principles. Report identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. Maintain knowledge of the patient population served. Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members. Set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes. Integrate all aspects of care using the nursing process and individualize the plan of care.
