We are partnering with a well-funded, commercial-stage biotechnology company to identify an Executive Director, Global Medical Expert to support multiple upcoming gene therapy launches.

This is a highly visible physician leadership opportunity for someone interested in operating at the intersection of clinical medicine, medical affairs, and launch execution.

The organization is seeking a physician who can serve as a trusted scientific and clinical partner to treatment centers, helping guide implementation of complex therapies for patients with serious rare diseases.

Key areas of interest include:

• Pediatric Genetics / Medical Genetics
• Pediatric Neurology
• Allergy & Immunology
• Transplant Medicine
• Rare Disease Expertise
• Gene Therapy Experience (preferred)

This is not a traditional field medical role. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians, treatment centers, and cross-functional leadership teams to help ensure successful adoption and execution of transformative therapies in real-world clinical practice.

Ideal candidates will bring a combination of:

• Significant clinical experience managing complex patients
• Industry experience within medical affairs, field medical, or clinical development
• Advanced clinical degree (MD strongly preferred; MD/PhD a plus) with board certification or equivalent training in Immunology, Genetics, Neurology, Rheumatology, or a closely related discipline
• Industry experience within medical affairs, field medical, or clinical development
• Gene therapy experience highly desirable

Fully remote within the United States with travel to specialized treatment centers.
