We’re looking for a friendly, detail‑oriented team member who can handle front‑counter customer service while also assisting with graphic design and production tasks. This role is tip‑eligible , meaning your total pay can increase based on customer tips received during front‑counter interactions. Position Overview This hybrid role blends graphic design , customer service , and front counter order intake . You’ll greet customers, take orders, prepare artwork, and help keep production moving smoothly. Strong communication skills, accuracy, and a customer‑first mindset are essential. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Front Counter Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance Take orders in person, by phone, and online Help customers choose products, materials, and design options Provide quotes, timelines, and order updates Maintain a clean, organized front counter and lobby area Earn customer tips based on service quality and interaction Graphic Design & Artwork Prep Create and prepare artwork for decals, apparel, signage, and print products Set up files for vinyl cutting, printing, and screen printing Make customer‑requested edits, mockups, and proofs Ensure artwork meets production requirements and shop standards Production Support Assist with vinyl production (weeding, masking, trimming) Help with print and decal departments during busy periods Collaborate with the screen‑printing and art teams as needed Maintain accuracy and consistency across all jobs Requirements Strong customer service and communication skills Basic to intermediate graphic design skills (Illustrator preferred) Ability to learn shop workflows and production processes Comfortable standing for extended periods Able to lift up to 40–50 lbs when assisting with materials Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment Attention to detail and pride in producing clean, accurate work Preferred Experience Adobe Illustrator or similar design software Experience in a print shop, sign shop, or apparel shop Knowledge of vinyl cutting, printing, or screen‑printing workflows Comfort working with customers face‑to‑face Why Work at DecalMonkey.biz?
