Estate Plan Greenville is a flat fee estate planning firm in Greenville, South Carolina, hiring its first associate attorney. Wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and long term care planning for South Carolina families. No probate, no litigation, no billable hours.

** Requirements **

• Active South Carolina Bar admission, in good standing. This one is not flexible, because everything we do is South Carolina law. Admission in other jurisdictions is a plus.
• Based in Upstate South Carolina.
• HYBRID position: You would work from home most days, but client meetings are in Greenville and our seminars run across the region, so this is not a work from anywhere role.

** What you would be doing **

• Initial consultations with prospective clients who have already been qualified by our intake coordinator
• Design meetings, where the plan actually gets built with the client
• Drafting trusts, wills, powers of attorney, health care directives, and deeds in WealthCounsel
• Signing meetings and funding follow through
• Presenting at our free public estate planning seminars across the Upstate, once we have trained you

** What we are looking for **

Estate planning, trusts and estates, or elder law experience helps and we want to hear about it. It is not required. What matters more:

• You are willing to draft, a lot, especially in the first six months
• You are patient and plain spoken with clients in their sixties and seventies, who are often anxious and sometimes grieving
• You are self directed enough to do well at a small firm without an office around you
• You are eventually willing to stand up and teach a room

** Being straight with you **

• The first six months are drafting heavy, and every document you produce will be reviewed line by line
• Some seminars are on weeknights
• We are small, and some of our systems are still being built as you use them
• This is not a big firm salary and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What it is instead is real client contact from month one, no billable hour requirement, and genuine room to grow as the firm does

** Compensation and details **

• $60,654.26-67,067.49 base per year, full time, W2
• South Carolina Bar dues, CLE, and professional development covered
• WealthCounsel license and all software provided
• Target start date: October 2026
