Quick Facts Location: Belmont, NC Start Date: Late 2024 End Date/Duration: Ongoing opportunity Shift: 24-hour shifts: day rounds and on-call from home Hours/Week: Variable based on scheduling Employment Type: Full-Time Licensure/Certifications: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (must have current certification) Experience: Minimum of 2 years NNP experience required (excluding RN experience) Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Health Insurance including prescriptions Dental & Vision Insurance Life Insurance & Disability options Employee stock purchase program with 15% discount* 401(k) with company match Long-term Care (LTC) Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Additional benefits: Aflac plans, Identity Protection, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) What You’ll Do Conduct daily rounds on newborns in a new 10-bed Level I nursery Attend deliveries when requested Stabilize and manage newborns requiring higher care and facilitate transports to Level III NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia Provide expert procedures, assessments, and early interventions for newborns Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal neonatal care Participate in the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures Support the onboarding and training of new staff members as needed What You Need Required: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (must have current certification) 2 years of NNP employment experience (not including RN experience) Ability to work 24-hour shifts with flexibility for on-call duties Strong neonatal assessment and stabilization skills Preferred: Prior experience in a Level I nursery setting Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and clinical skills About the Assignment Join a leading healthcare provider in Belmont, NC, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, a newly constructed facility opening late 2024.
