Part- time Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Onsite Madison, WI Phase I Site

Fortrea

Madison, WI

Fortrea seeks a Nurse Practitioner for its Phase I clinical research site in Madison, Wisconsin. The NP will conduct participant assessments, serve as a clinical advisor to teams, and support regulatory compliance and quality systems for early-phase clinical trials.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical examinations, medical histories, and participant assessments
  • Serve as technical advisor to Clinical Pharmacology teams and cross-functional partners
  • Oversee quality systems development and implementation to ensure GCP adherence
  • Participate in clinical feasibility assessments for new study proposals
  • Mentor and train staff as an educational resource

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current NP certification and active licensure
  • 3–5 years relevant clinical experience
  • Strong English communication skills, spoken and written
  • Ability to work in clinical/laboratory environment with biological materials
  • Proficiency with hands-on tasks and computer work for extended periods
