Product Development Engineering Technician

Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute test protocols using mechanical laboratory equipment and manual techniques.
• Assist in planning, execution, and data analysis of experiments.
• Report results to project leadership and prepare technical reports as needed.
• Provide technical support for laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Participate in investigations related to equipment, test methods, or quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement of lab processes.
• Assist in onboarding and training of associates.
• Maintain good laboratory and documentation practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulations.

Experience Required

• 0-2 years of engineering or technical experience, preferably in medical devices.

Skills & Certifications

• Working knowledge of mechanical measurement equipment (e.g., Instron) desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in statistical tools and computer analysis.

Eligibilities & qualifications

• A BS degree in engineering is desirable (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
