Arthur W. Weiss, D.D.S. is seeking a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant to support our one-doctor office in Toluca Lake. This part-time role offers approximately 30 hours per week within a positive, patient-focused environment that values quality care over pace.
Our small dental practice is dedicated to delivering personalized and attentive dental care in a relaxed, professional setting. We prioritize teamwork, patient comfort, and a supportive workplace culture where every team member is valued.
TitleDental assistant
Job DescriptionAssist the dentist chairside during procedures, including passing instruments and chairside suctioning
Prepare and manage treatment rooms, ensuring instruments are sterilized using autoclaving and dry heat techniques
Perform dental radiographs, including bitewing X-rays (requires current Radiology Certification)
Manage dental waste in compliance with safety protocols
Mix dental materials as needed
Greet and assist patients, fostering a welcoming atmosphere
Salary Rangepart-time $21 - $25 per hour

Shift & ScheduleMonday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday: Closed
Requirements- Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
- X-ray / Radiography Certification
Current Radiology Certification (x-ray license)
Experience or training in dental assisting, including chairside support and instrumentation
Knowledge of dental waste management and sterilization procedures
Ability to effectively greet and communicate with patients
Entry-level candidates with certification and relevant skills are welcome
PreferencesPrior experience in a dental office setting
Familiarity with bitewing X-rays
