Bartender

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with previous bartending experience to join our Emma's restaurant team at The Club at Prairie Falls!

As a bartender, you will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as well as serving food while providing an excellent guest experience. Your shifts may include a mix of bartending at our main indoor bar as well as our event bars outside (tent coverage), and in our event center upstairs.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill drink orders from guests & servers
• Take & serve food orders from guests in your designated area
• Check IDs and adhere to all alcohol service policies and procedures
• Perform all required shift side work as defined by the restaurant general manager
• Assist in setting up bar with all needed ingredients and equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cocktails (cutting and peeling fruit, etc.)
• Ensure great presentation before cocktails are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the bar
• Ensure all liquors, condiments and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients

Skills

• Previous bartending experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work in a fast paced and unpredictable environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work calmly under pressure
• Excellent communication skills with both co-workers and guests
• Excellent sales skills to promote drink specials and upsell menu items effectively.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours
• Must be able to lift at least 25lbs
• Must be able to work outside in high temperatures
