Senior Producer – CNN Subscription Service CNN is hiring a Senior Producer for its subscription service. In this role, you will shoot, craft, edit, and create VOD content for CNN’s subscription service. The Senior Producer is a highly skilled shooter, storyteller, and editor who combines editorial excellence with a creative eye for visual storytelling and technical expertise. The position requires proficiency in field shooting, editing, story generation, and original series execution. Responsibilities Lead creative development and editorial execution of ambitious video projects for CNN’s subscription service Write scripts focusing on visuals, pacing, and tone to ensure content is distinctive, accurate, and impactful Develop and lead long-form projects, serialized formats, or high-priority video initiatives across platforms Translate editorial goals and audience insights into compelling video treatments that meet brand and journalistic standards Produce multi-part projects or story treatments simultaneously, with the ability to flex between complex long-form content and quick-turn short-form Create and monitor production schedules and budgets to ensure timely, current, and cost-effective content Lead cross-functional collaboration with design, tech, audience development, and product teams to deliver content aligned with audience strategy Enforce quality control standards for storytelling, brand voice, and production consistency Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial leads, talent partners, and distribution teams to align goals Participate and proactively ideate in experimentation of format, tone, and visual treatment to evolve storytelling craft Qualifications and Experience Typically 8+ years of progressively complex related experience in a new or related environment Proven track record of developing and executing compelling editorial video formats Strong collaborator and cross-functional partner Ability to work with A-level talent Demonstrated technical and creative expertise in editing and producing, including proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite Must have thorough understanding of video production workflow and proficiency in file-based production environments Proven editorial judgment and knowledge of editorial functions such as story pitching, field production, shot selection, scripting, and adapting to evolving technologies Must be agile and adaptable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as deadlines warrant Bachelor’s degree in journalism, technical production, or relevant professional work experience Inclusion and Equal Opportunity Warner Bros. In compliance with local law, we disclose the compensation range for this role: $94,500.00- $175,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short-and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
