TheOperationsManagerwillworkcloselywithexecutiveleadership,projectmanagers,servicemanagers,salesteams,andtechnicalstafftoensurebusinessobjectivesaremetwhilemaintainingastrongcultureofaccountability,safety,andcontinuousimprovement. ThisisaleadershiproleforsomeonewithaproventrackrecordintheBuildingAutomationSystems(BAS),HVACControls,MechanicalContracting,orCommercialConstructionindustry. EssentialResponsibilities OperationalLeadership Leadandmanagedailyoperationsforservice,project,programming,andcontrolsteams. Developandimplementoperationalstrategiesthatimproveefficiency,productivity,andprofitability. EstablishandmonitoroperationalKPIsandperformancemetrics. Identifyprocessimprovementopportunitiesandimplementcorrectiveactions. Ensureconsistencyinprojectexecution,servicedelivery,andcustomerexperience. TeamLeadership&Development Lead,coach,mentor,anddevelopmanagers,supervisors,andoperationalpersonnel. Buildacultureofaccountability,collaboration,andhighperformance. Conductregularperformancereviewsandsupportemployeedevelopmentplans. Assistwithworkforceplanning,recruiting,onboarding,andretentioninitiatives. FinancialManagement Managedepartmentalbudgetsandoperationalforecasting. Monitorlaborutilization,projectperformance,andgrossmargintargets. Reviewprojectandserviceprofitabilityandimplementstrategiesforimprovement. Partnerwithleadershiptodriverevenuegrowthwhilemaintainingoperationalefficiency. Project&CustomerManagement Supportprojectmanagersandserviceleaderstoensuresuccessfulprojectdelivery. Monitorprojectschedules,staffinglevels,resourceallocation,andcustomersatisfaction. Assistwithresolvingcustomerconcernsandoperationalescalations. Maintainstrongrelationshipswithcustomers,vendors,andbusinesspartners. Safety&Compliance Ensurecompliancewithcompanypolicies,industryregulations,andsafetyrequirements. Promoteastrongsafetyculturethroughouttheorganization. Supportaudits,operationalreviews,andcomplianceinitiatives. RequiredQualifications Minimum7yearsofleadershipexperienceinBuildingAutomationSystems(BAS),HVACControls,MechanicalContracting,CommercialHVAC,ElectricalContracting,orCommercialConstructionoperations. Minimum5yearsofexperiencemanagingoperationalteams,includingfieldtechnicians,programmers,projectmanagers,servicepersonnel,orsimilartechnicalstaff. Provenexperiencemanagingprojectexecution,serviceoperations,workforceplanning,andoperationalperformance. Strongunderstandingofcommercialconstructionprojects,serviceoperations,andprojectfinancials. Experiencemanagingdepartmentalbudgets,laborutilization,andprofitabilitymetrics. Demonstratedabilitytoleadmultipleteamsandmanageoperationsacrossmultiplelocationsorbusinessunits. Strongknowledgeofprojectmanagementprinciples,scheduling,resourceplanning,andoperationalreporting. Excellentleadership,communication,andorganizationalskills. ProficiencywithMicrosoftOfficeandbusinessmanagementsoftware. PreferredExperience BuildingAutomationSystems(BAS)experience. HVACControlsexperience. Niagara,Distech,Tridium,Alerton,AutomatedLogic,JohnsonControls,Siemens,SchneiderElectric,Honeywell,orsimilarcontrolsplatformexperience. Experiencesupportingservice,project,andprogrammingteams. ExperiencewithERP,HRIS,projectmanagement,andworkforcemanagementsystems. Bachelor’sdegreeinBusiness,ConstructionManagement,Engineering,MechanicalEngineering,orrelatedfield.
