Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts, weekends as scheduled. Every other weekend is required.

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team on the night shift. The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care to a diverse patient population, primarily adults, while also having the opportunity to interact with pediatric patients in specific units.

Responsibilities:

• Administer breathing treatments and manage ventilators for patients in acute settings.
• Perform ABG draws and run samples.
• Conduct EKGs for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assist in intubation procedures under supervision.
• Provide care in all inpatient areas, including the Emergency Department and ICU.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated with departmental protocols and participate in training as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ACLS and BLS certification (AHA).
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC.
• STABLE, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and PALS certification preferred.
• Prior experience in ER, ICU, or inpatient adult settings required.
• Pediatric experience preferred; willing to train on pediatric care.
