Milling Machinist

Are you tired of working in a sweltering shop and never having a full weekend to yourself? We are a 100% employee-owned business in Appleton, WI, looking for a skilled Machinist to join our crew. We offer a temperature-controlled environment (yes, the AC is great), a high-energy culture, and a schedule that gives you every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.

Position – Milling Machinist

Job Location – Appleton, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 3pm to 3am M-W 3pm to noon on Thursday – Off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Starting Pay – Starting salary of $60,000+ based on your expertise

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience

This isn't just "button pushing." You will be working in a job shop environment tackling complex parts and solving puzzles daily.

• Machine & Program: Take complex parts from blueprint to finished product.
• Strategize: Determine the most efficient sequence and method to machine parts accurately.
• Problem Solve: Figure out how to run multiple parts and optimize workflows.
• Stay Sharp: Maintain a clean, organized workspace using 6S procedures and prioritize safety above all else.

Qualifications

· Experience: At least 2 years of machining experience in a job shop environment is required.

· Skills: You can program at a complex level and read blueprints like a pro.

· Mindset: You’re a problem-solver who knows how to prioritize tasks when the shop gets busy.

· Education: High School Diploma or GED.

· Communication: You work well with a team and can communicate clearly.
