Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical exams and comprehensive medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical issues through the analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement patient-oriented surgical strategies
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing surgical suites, positioning patients, and instrument handoffs during surgeries
• And deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wound care, organizing discharge plans, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgery is highly desirable

Certifications

• Certification as a PA-C that is current and unrestricted
• BLS and ACLS certification are required
• Licensure as a Physician Assistant within the state (or eligibility)
