A local service organization is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support daily staffing and client scheduling operations.

This position plays an important role in keeping daily services organized by coordinating staff coverage, maintaining accurate schedules and communicating changes with employees and clients. We are looking for someone who is organized, responsive and comfortable taking ownership when schedules change unexpectedly.

Candidates with previous home health care scheduling or staffing experience are strongly preferred .

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain staff schedules based on client needs, employee availability, qualifications and preferences
• Coordinate new assignments and communicate schedule details and changes to employees and clients
• Respond promptly to callouts, cancellations, open shifts and other unexpected scheduling needs
• Identify coverage options and work to minimize disruptions to scheduled client services
• Maintain consistency in staffing while helping control overtime and avoid unnecessary cancellations
• Keep employee availability, qualifications and scheduling information accurate and current
• Document calls, schedule changes and necessary follow-up within company systems
• Maintain regular communication with field staff regarding availability and assignments
• Respond professionally to client and employee questions or concerns
• Help resolve scheduling conflicts and service-related issues
• Reinforce established policies and procedures with staff when needed
• Maintain confidentiality when handling client and employee information
• Support interviewing and onboarding of new staff when needed
• Assist with additional scheduling and staffing-related administrative responsibilities
• Participate in an on-call rotation as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous scheduling, staffing or workforce coordination experience
• Home health care scheduling or staffing experience strongly preferred
• Experience coordinating caregivers, field employees or other service-based staff preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust quickly when circumstances change
• Ability to remain professional and composed during time-sensitive situations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional approach when working with both clients and employees
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable managing frequent phone and electronic communications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn scheduling and business software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information
• Dependable follow-through and willingness to take ownership of scheduling needs

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Daytime schedule
• Full-time
• In-person position in the Santa Fe area
• On-call participation as assigned

Salary: $40,000–$50,000 per year , based on experience and qualifications.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of professional scheduling or staffing experience
• Home health care scheduling experience strongly preferred
• Experience coordinating caregiver schedules, callouts and last-minute coverage
• Client services or customer support experience
• Microsoft Office experience
• Experience working with scheduling or workforce management software
