Systems Engineer III

Bachelor's of engineering within mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering. 8+ years of systems integration experience supporting EW or COE programs. 3+ years of Linux experience Extensive rigor testing experience within C4 and C5 systems. To include end-to-end validation, stress, and configuration testing. Proven experience within risk assessment and performance and evaluation processes. Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer III to support advanced Cryptologic Carry-On Equipment (COE) and Electronic Warfare (EW) systems in a mission-critical DoD environment. This role focuses on system-level engineering across the full lifecycle, including requirements development, system design, integration, testing, cybersecurity, and sustainment of complex SIGINT, EW, IO, and RF systems. Responsibilities include developing system requirements and CONOPS, conducting risk assessments and performance analyses, supporting test and evaluation efforts, and providing post-deployment system support. The Systems Engineer will also support hardware and software configuration management, including tracking requirements, defects, enhancements, risks, and test results. Candidates should have experience supporting DoD systems in Windows and Linux environments, including Linux administration, and possess the ability to collaborate across engineering, cybersecurity, and program teams to maintain system integrity and mission readiness. The salary for this role ranges between $100,000 and $130,000 per year but is flexible based on years of experience.
