Software Engineer III, Manufacturing AI Infrastructure

Design and develop components of scalable machine learning (ML) and agentic AI infrastructure for manufacturing.Maintain and improve existing AI platform for support of advanced automatic optical inspection.Develop and operate scalable back-end for online ML model serving and online inference.Develop advanced data collection backend and analytical portal for advanced manufacturing insights.Write design documents and participate in design reviews.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C/C++, JavaScript).1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging) or Agentic AI Development.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.Experience developing accessible technologies.Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
