Software Development Engineer, Manufacturing Infrastructure

We own the development of hardware and software solutions that are deployed on factory floors worldwide. If you have interacted with Google today, you have used machines that have run through our code!Our team provides software tools to support manufacturing test processes. We develop code in python and Golang that runs on factory machines around the world as well as in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).We provide software and services that run at factories producing Google products as well as other support for the Test Engineer teams. Our products include OpenTest.(test executive) and Sentinel, an active factory adaptive test platform with components in GCP and Google's internal cloud infra.In this role, you will develop and maintain Python code and Golang. You will execute to a software development lifecycle that includes customer intake, writing specifications, doing code reviews and releasing software. You will participate in Agile sprints and adhere to good coding practices. You will also need to be comfortable speaking to our contract manufacturers' IT teams about how to integrate our solutions into their networks.The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible.
